We look for well managed companies that have the potential to be positioned as platform companies in their own market, namely a starting point for follow-on acquisitions in the same industry.
Our value proposition is based on two pillars. We work to minimize the dilution of all the entrepreneurial team in the different steps of the fundraising process and to maximize the equity value of all the shareholders executing a sound acquisition strategy and properly communicating the value creation to the market.
We join the companies as a minority shareholder through one of our investment vehicles. We support them in developing a growth plan based on follow-on acquisitions (we adopt a “buy and build” approach) and in raising the acquisition finance necessary to execute the plan. Our sweet spot is up to 5M EUR of equity capital plus debt if and where necessary. We take an active role in the company and, once the planning and fundraising process is completed, we work on business strategy together with our co-entrepreneurs, leading the M&A, corporate finance and investor relations practice with the goal of executing the growth plan based on acquisitions.
We invest our own capital and act as a long term shareholder. We exit from the company once the industrial project is completed, without pre-defining a duration for our investments. Once we join the company there is a clear division of roles between us and our co-entrepreneurs: our co-entrepreneurs take care of the management of the company while we take care of acquisitions and corporate finance. Together we think of the group strategy.
